DJ CEEJAY

SHORT BIOGRAPHY:
DJ Ceejay was born into a musical orientated family and her love for music started from a young age and from around eight years old she started playing guitar with her father. Fast forward to 1999 where DJ Ceejay met DJ Theo, one of Cape Town’s top DJ’s at Club Escape in Table View, Cape Town. After becoming good friends, they started moving around in the same circle at the various clubs in Cape Town, allowing Ceejay to get familiar with the club and music scene.

DJ Ceejay played her first short set at the legendary Club Baseline in long street, Cape Town, moving onto various clubs around Cape Town and ending off her DJ career in South Africa in 2008 after a 4 year residency at Vacca Matta.  DJ Ceejay now lives in the UK with her husband, DJ Theo where they have taken to the online world of DJ’ing. SHORT BIOGRAPHY:
Born in Cape Town, South Africa, DJ Theo, started at a young age of only 14 years old, growing up in a family of musicians and was capable of playing multiple instruments. He developed a passion for the finer art of sound after a visit to the recording studio. On completing his studies in sound design & lighting engineering he dedicated his time to his DJ career. Quickly gaining respect as a DJ that delivered a technically flawless set. Being selected the supporting DJ for 1993 Shaggy SA Tour and regularly featured on Radio 5FM & GoodHope FM.

Featuring as a headline act in most top clubs in Cape Town including events as E-TV’s Party’s, The Camel Experience, Dockside Events, Back2Back and the Soundscape Beach Party’s. Moving on to opening his own venue Club Rumours and responsible for the success or the legendary Club Enigma.
